Mexico San Augustin Loxicha #1

Sourced from the Sierra Sur mountains south of Oaxaca de Juarez in the town of San Augustin Loxicha.  This area is almost exclusively dominated by the Plumas coffee varietal which is an old offshoot of Typica that has been grown here since the 1950's. This coffee is rich and chocolatey with a heavy body and sweet darker fruit notes. A great example of the Plumas varietal and the potential that this area holds for beautiful classic coffees.
